For more than 50 years Artemis has been at the forefront of optical coating technology and has many blue chip, globally recognised companies on its customer list. The business is currently growing by about 20% year on year and as a consequence has a number of vacancies that it is looking to fill.

In order to support our growth and continued expansion in the supply of optical assemblies, Artemis are looking to recruit a mechanical engineer.

The role is varied between hands on support to production in carrying out some elements of assembly as well the design of new assembly processes and production tooling. The successful candidate will be experienced in the use of CAD as a design tool and should be able to demonstrate their ability to design and implement tooling and  process solutions.

Though not essential, experience of working with opto-mechanical assemblies would be desirable.
