Genomics
Genomics is the study of genetic code of a test sample. This data allows scientists and clinicians to study the role that genetic factors play in an individuals susceptibility to diseases, for instance cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. In turn, this enables medical researchers, through their increased knowledge of the human genetic code, to develop ever more advanced treatments for diseases. Artemis' customers are designers and manufacturers of DNA sequencers.
