Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC)
Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) is the process of designing, and manufacturing, a system to minimise the effects of Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI). Military agencies have an increasing requirement for EMC as it reduces the detectability of a military platform. National Government bureaus for public safety are applying increasingly stringent legislation in this area as EMI is suspected of causing health issues.
Artemis’ customers are manufacturers of opto-electrical instrumentation used in applications requiring EMC.
